Sacrament Meeting

We are all converts going through the same process, we ultimately have to decide if we believe that the church is true for ourselves, we cannot piggy back on someone else's testimony for long. It is one thing to be converted and another to have a testimony. It is a daily process in which we seek and strive to be like Christ.

The church provides a way so that not only can we know something but we can become something as well.

Matthew 14: 25-31
"And in the fouth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea.
And when the disciples say him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear.
But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.
And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water.
And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.
But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beggining to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.
And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?"

Will we be there for others always, but especially when they need it most. It always seems to amaze me what wonderful friends I have. Whenever I am upset, downtrodden, or just needing to talk, it always seems like one of them is in tune with the Spirit and guides them to get in touch with me. I am so grateful for them and all that they do for me.

Mark 5: 25-34
"And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years,
And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse,
When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment,
For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.
And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.
And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes?
And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest though, Who touched me?
And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing.
But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and feel down before him, and told him all the truth.
And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague."

We must set a good example; people are constantly watching us without us being cognizant of it. Bless other peoples lives by serving them.
